There are traits to tell whether it’s a males or female but for most of us who have not seen enough arowanas, these are very subjective.. Things like males having larger mouths and females having broader bodies are only relevant if we have seen enough. However if these arowanas are below 2 years old, it is much harder to tell and even the professionals are known to have guessed wrong. ;D

Mohd,
You can feed them markets prawns, feeder fish, meal worms, frogs, to name a few.
As for the gender, it’s hard to tell even for the experts sometimes. If they are below 2-3 years old, you won’t be able to. Females have broader bodies and males have larger mouths but if you have not seen enough, this is very subjective.
