Sorry but this is not enough info for me to give advise. But irrespective, you must still change the water as it sounds like there could be parasites/bacteria in the water. And medicate as well if it is already sick.

It could be fungus or bacteria if the tail is showing signs of tearing… Goto your fish shop to get some medication. Best is to show them a picture of the problem.

Would you please give me some advise as my fish got infection or something…it doesn’t eat for a week, plus the tail skin start felt off…
