Hi everyone…
I found a video that I would like to share with you. Many of you have asked me whether it is possible to breed arowanas in a tank and I have always told you that the chances are very very very slim but as the saying goes, never say never!
This is one of the few authenticated cases of arowanas breeding in tanks. This one I believe took place in Japan. If anyone knows about the actual origin of this video, feel free to share with us in this post.
Other than that, I must say, this is one of the coolest videos in town. (for an arowana lover that is!)
ENJOY!!
Steven

i like to ask an inquiry. i have 3 silver arowanas around 2feet long. when my pet arowana was still around 1feet long, my 2 arowans swim circle together like courting, my suspect is that i have 1 female and 2 males. i transfer them to their new aquarium last april 29. they seem to enjoy it, they look very nice inside the new aquarium. this last few days i observed, they dont eat much or they dont eat(i feed them live guppies), most of the times – the other arowana stays at the bottom of the tank(he or she likes to stay there), the other arrowana stays at the middle, the 3rd arowana stays at the top (he or she stays at one corner most of the time). is this natural? hoping for your immediate responds regarding this matter. thank you.
Hope,
Seems like you haave problems with your water. When you see this, you should change the water.. (1/4 tank max at any one time)
