This is all hearsay… (I am assuming you are referring to the asian arowanas.) I can vouch that they are not sterilized because we export overseas. It is just that asian arowanas are very hard to breed and they have only been bred (Commercially) successfully in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

I do not really know the prices in Malaysis but I would think it would be in the region of at least US$1000 each for the reds and crossbacks. Sometimes much more depending on the quality…

I doubt that’s the case. It has all to do with the water, soil, weather conditions that not suited for their breeding in India.

If this 2 RTGs are already 15 cms long, they are probably more than 1 year old… You should never mix this adults together as they will fight and can be fatal…
