This usually indicates that it has some internal injury… Unfortunately, because it is hard to tell, the survival rate is very low. Sorry!
One cause I can think of is it could have eaten something sharp which could have pierce it’s stomach…

Just want to let you know that we just got arowana jardini about 12 inches tis afternoon and we just put them together with our African cichlid in 60 gallon tank, an we r so suprise so far the fish is fine n they get along n we r happy !!

I just set up my tank and after 2 days I put my jardini in there and now it sometimes just sits on the floor. It kind of looks like it doesnt have much energy. What is wrong with it and is it going to be okay?
